HOW WE DO IT...
Precise uses only the finest quality materials, purchased whenever possible from venders right here in Spokane. We build cabinets and furniture from nearly any species of wood, according to your taste and your budget. All materials are hand-selected for quality and visual grain continuity. This attention to the smallest detail is what makes our custom work excel.
Construction
We build all of our cabinet bodies from birch plywood for strength, beauty and longevity. Our face frames are made of hardwood glued and joined with high grade pocket screws and sanded to a silky smooth finish.
Our doors and drawer fronts are built with grain-matched hardwood and joined by cope and stick joints. They are also sanded to smooth final finish.
All drawer boxes are constructed from 5/8-inch solid maple or high grade Baltic birch plywood and joined together with half-blind dovetail joints. Contrasting wood species for the dovetails are also available.
Hardware
We feel a cabinet is only as good as the hardware in it. That's why we only use the best Blum ball bearing drawer glides and door hinges. This very high quality hardware insures our customers will have smooth rolling drawers and easy opening doors for a lifetime.
Finish
All of our cabinets are finished inside and out with three coats of Conversion Varnish in a variety of sheens and either clear of colored. Conversion Varnish is one of the hardest and most durable finishes on the market today.
